The donations have been bought and packed

At Fridays fundraiser party in Krakow we announced that our friends, families and fans have raised about 1800 Euros of donations during the last four weeks. Through our contacts in the Mali Health Organizing Project we have decided to do the following with the money:

  • 1100 Euros have been spent on medical equipment here in Poland. Tom, Martin and Axel helped out doing the purchase on Friday before the fundraiser. Everything is now packed and ready to be transported to the Asacosisou clinic in the outskirts of Bamako.
  • 700 Euros will be brought to Bamako in cash. Once there we will pick up a large order of medications from a pharmacy together with Adama Kouyate from MHOP and the doctors from the Asacosisou clinic. The order has already been made by the local doctors, and this solves our problems with transporting medications across eleven country borders.

We in Copernica Adventures would like to thank all of you who have donated to the project. It is great to see that we can make a difference, and we look forward to reporting back to you when we finally meet our new friends in Bamako.

This is what we have. 3700 Items ready to be packed. Detailed list and pictures below.
